Polytomic's Product and Service are Unbeatable
What do you like best about the product?
Polytomic is simple to set up and does exactly what you would expect it to do. If any support is needed, their team is available to help and goes above and beyond everytime.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside about Polytomic is that my team wasn't using it sooner and that we haven't started using it for all our 3rd party data integration just yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Polytomic used to sync Stripe and Hubspot with our data warehouse. It is tremendously useful and has save our engineering team countless hours of custom integrations and maintenance.
Great tool for data pipelines
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and reliable. The user interface is excellent and the team is responsive to requests and changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The company is still young so there could be some concern around that, but I haven't found it to be an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We couldn't find an ETL tool that allowed us to get data from a specific source. Polytomic was willing to build that connector for us specifically and we've been using that connector for a long time now. They are always willing to help us troubleshoot any issues and are very communicative about their product.

Polytomic has been incredibly helpful in managing our data integrations between our product, Hubspot and intercom.

What do you dislike about the product?
Polytomic's UI takes some getting used to, but once you figure it out...it's easy. They are always making improvements to the product when it comes to the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Polytomic helps Dock manage our data connection between our database, Hubspot, Stripe and Intercom.
Polytomic is a good tool and their team is even better
What do you like best about the product?
Polytomic has been easy to use and reliable for us. So far, we have been able to handle any integration need that we have. We are sending curated data to the tools we're integrating with, so our integrations aren't overly complex. But I do appreciate that we can set up many-to-many associations as long as the direct creation and updating of records.
I really appreciate the a-la-carte pricing, so we only need to pay for the integrations that we are actually using and can add more on at any time.
The Polytomic team has been absolutely fantastic to work with. They are responsive, smart, and helpful. The people we have spoken to know their code base really well and have been able to answer our questions quickly and confidently.

What do you dislike about the product?
Being a newer tool, it may not be as full-featured or complex as some other options. But anything that we needed for it to be a viable solution for us, they were able to implement and have released super fast. The simplicity is a plus for us, so this isn't even an actual negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have to worry about learning all of the nuances of 3rd-party APIs, like Hubspot, or keeping up to date with changes to those APIs. Polytomic handles rate limiting and batching for us.
User friendly and powerful tool for integration and data maintenance
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like the most about Polytomic is that I can use it as a systems administrator who doesn't know SQL well enough to write it and our data/engineering team can also use it using SQL. It allows for far better cross-functional collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still a few things to iron out in terms of simplifying certain parts of the navigation like being able to group or search in certain views, but that has been steadily improving the whole time we've been using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Polytomic has allowed better collaboration across teams that work with Data and has increased the ability of non-engineering teams and individuals to be self-serve to some extent. It also has taken work which was in legacy formats and brought it into a much more concise and easy-to-manage format.
Great product, even better people
What do you like best about the product?
We use Polytomic to connect our CRM to external data sources and extract insights. Polytomic's product is the orchestrator of this workflow and is extremely intuitive to use. The team itself is also extremely helpful, more than willing to hop on a call to remediate any challenges we may have.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about the platform.

Easy to set up, easy to work with
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface for Polytomic is intuitive and simple while still allowing for the complexity that can come with more complex syncs. We got the whole thing up and running in just a few days. The Polytomic team is also great to work with. They addressed our concerns, including working through a complicated sync, in just a few hours. It's rare to find companies with such great support. Polytomic was also a much cheaper option for us than many competitors since our use case is fairly minimal.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't the fastest solution out there, which can cause delays when syncing hundreds of thousands of records. This wasn't a problem for our use case, but even our continuous syncs can easily be 10-30 minutes apart, and syncing just 10 records can sometimes take a full minute or two.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to integrate our internal databases and Hubspot. Writing our own ETL process for this would have cost many developer hours and would require future upkeep any time Hubspot updated its API. We also anticipate integrating with SalesForce shortly, which adds to the complexity. Polytomic solves these problems, and makes it easy to add future integrations when needed.

- I like that I can easily connect external data to my database in snowflake with polytomic.

- Heavy data syncs from spreadsheet sometimes take a bit of time to sync, especially when you are building the connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me solve syncing particular data sheets in spreadsheets to snowflake data base

What do you like best about the product?
With Polytomic syncing data between airtable and mysql, it makes the data available to non tech team members without active intervention from the tech team, providing more bandwidth to work on developing our product.

There are no downsides that I have observed for my use case atleast

It helps in consolidating data spread over a few sources that makes the stakeholders aware of the data without major intervention from the tech team.
