Mature Automation, Spot-On Recommendations, and Great Reports
What do you like best about the product?
The automation is very mature, and the recommendations are also on point. The reports are great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the report are still a little confusing to read, especially in the optimization overview. Also, if it weren’t limited only to Kubernetes, it would be perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automation aspect of right-sizing and choosing the best node type for a Kubernetes cluster.
Efficient Kubernetes Management with Intuitive Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can set up custom nodes and that it is easy to override when needed. And its user interface is friendly. CAST AI makes managing Kubernetes clusters, which can be a bit daunting, much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
An area that CAST AI can improve is its accuracy when it comes to predictive workloads. Sometimes it doesn't anticipate sudden nonlinear traffic spikes. Also, improving overall visibility for more complex or hybrid architectures would be interesting. Maybe some agentic capabilities in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CAST AI solves scaling, hibernation, provisioning, and keeps our cost optimum.
Cast.AI Auto-Adjusts Resources to Keep Alerts Quiet and On-Call Nights Peaceful
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to immediately apply values to a manifest is my favorite feature. Being in a on-call rotation, this prevents unnecessary alerts from triggering in the middle of the night. Cast.AI will automatically adjust the resources, which clears the alert and I'm not woken up at night.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Cast.AI automatically tells you how much you could to save BEFORE you turn it on. It doesn't track how much you've saved AFTER as you turn it on app by app. That would be a nice feature to have since the data is already there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rightsizing applications is a difficult and tedious task, but there could be a lot of wasted resources if you don't. Cast.AI lets us rightsize out applications to reduce that waste and in the end, save money. It basically pays for itself over time.
Effortless Cost Monitoring with CAST AI
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the setup process with CAST AI is pretty easy, especially when it comes to deploying infrastructure as code using Terraform. It's simple to deploy the CAST AI agent on our existing clusters, and once that's done, it takes over managing the EKS cluster from there.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I could think of is how CAST AI handles drift, like infrastructure as code drifts. More documentation on that aspect would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use CAST AI for cost monitoring on EKS, automatic optimizations, and accurate cost allocation across teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate CAST AI's cost-effectiveness; it slashed my AWS bill nearly to approximately 40-45%. Their service provides cloud storage billing at a comparatively low cost. The autonomous scaling and bill packing features are also beneficial, and the initial setup was nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the autonomous feature, like moving pods or shutting down extra servers, could be more effective, although it's accurate for me at the moment.

I use CAST AI for autonomous scaling and bill packing, which reduces cloud storage costs significantly, slashing my AWS bill by about 40-45%.

What do you like best about the product?
all of the cost cutting features like the scheduled rebalancing feature, and the analytics to see what each resources costs in a granular way.
What do you dislike about the product?
From past experience, the workload autoscaler (VPA) has been hit or miss with some of our workloads that have bursty usage, like large file uploads, causing the pod to restart and the upload to fail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cost-savings and compute usage efficiency had been our biggest concern before and now it's well maintained by castai through rebalancing, spot instances, etc. Next, we're excited about exploring the use of OMNI to obtain access to high-end GPUs.

Vendor dependency: Relying on automation to make core infrastructure decisions increases our operational dependence on a third party.

Cast AI solves the problem of overprovisioned Kubernetes clusters and high cloud costs by automatically selecting the most cost-efficient instances and optimizing scaling in real time.

It’s been very helpful for streamlining our tech stack and optimizing our pipeline, making our overall workflow feel much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product itself is great. That said, I’d appreciate a few adjustments to the UI, along with some optimization to make the menu navigation smoother and more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned before, it has helped us become more optimized and efficient overall, making our workflow smoother and more consistent.
AI-Powered Efficiency with Room for Notification Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the range of diverse features that CAST AI offers, and in addition to the constant updates focused on improving the tool, it's possible to perceive the appreciation of those working on this project and their commitment to excellence. I like how the tool revolves around AI, but it allows for fine-tuning of configurations to achieve excellence. The ability to allocate different machines to nodes within the same pool without requiring multiple configurations is particularly beneficial. The initial setup is super simple, basically running two or three commands on the cluster and all the configuration is ready.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the notification aspect of CAST AI could be improved; it's very simple, which is good for usability, but bad because it makes it limited. It would be interesting to have the possibility of receiving error alerts and alerts when recovering from those errors, allowing us to actively monitor the tool's operation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use CAST AI for automatic scaling and optimal resource allocation, which saves costs and reduces team overload by eliminating manual cluster optimization.

What do you like best about the product?
It's fairly easy to use and manage. Provides good visibility of all the workloads and what it does. Makes it simpler to select proper node sizes and types, as it can be handled automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some bugs and quirks. Not all functions work right away but support team is responsive and helpful with solving the issues.

Automated scaling, working better than the native one, and choosing the most efficient instance types, including spots.
