Db2 best database ever
What do you like best about the product?
That it works so well both for OLTP and Datawarehouse load, and you can use it on prem and in the cloud, its perfect for the job
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as a know of today, that will effect the use of Db2

Speed, and reliability

Its so flexible, with the right skills its such a great way to get customer data easily

Sometimes it takes a long time to run more complex queries

Fraud / bad debt prevention and understanding which of our customers are impacted by disasters

What do you like best about the product?
Using is easy, relational, standard statements, works with CICS

I like the product! (I do not dislike it)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking rows of data and placing each data type into a DB2 field, instead of using a parsing program each time to read in data. Data will be in a relational database and can be searched and optimized for performance efficency.

There is really nothing that I don't like avout the product

We have used db2 for over 30 years and is integral to our success.

What do you like best about the product?
The operating system is the database - the database is the operating system. Having the O/S encompased within DB2 makes it easy to both manage the system as well as build management related queries

Currently there is nothing I dislike about the product -- it shoudl eat Oracle's lunch

Nothing other than the fact that my internal tech customers have built their architecture around it that I'm struggling to migrate them to modern databases
