Ops Hub is expensive for what it does
What do you like best about the product?
The workflow extensions feature the big one for me. A client of mine needs to be able to fire API calls within third party software and being able to do this without using Zapier is so helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Current functionality really not at the level it needs to be for the price they're commanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiencies in our data collection. Integration between our techstack.

What do you like best about the product?
I like to work on HubSpot operational hub. Because I can do some calculations in the report level as we did in google data studio. it allows us to do the basic calculations in both property and report
What do you dislike about the product?
The saddest part of the operation hub is the limited formula. I can use only the basic formula in the dataset creation. It would be great if the HubSpot team increased the formula access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of Hubspot operational hub was, as a product and project-based company having various channel partner processes we can able to calculate the incentives and the work of the individuals.
Way overpriced, terrible customer service, can find the same functions for far less elsewhere.
What do you like best about the product?
It tracks where our leads go to on our website. That's nice, but honestly, still not worth the price and bad customer service.

We got scammed into unnecessary charges from the beginning. Way overpriced, terrible customer service, can find the same functions for far less elsewhere.

Lead tracking.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We use Mindbody for our software. They have a marketing add-on for about $150/month that does almost everything Hubspot does, but way more affordable. Hubspot is very sales-minded, so if you call to get a quote, expect to be scammed into more than you need and trapped into those things for the entire year with no help at all. BUYER BEWARE. DONT DO IT!
Good solution with not the best name
What do you like best about the product?
I've mostly used it to enhance workflows in HubSpot using programmable actions. I like that you can go on the code level and are free to do things like data transformations and API calls (either to HubSpot or other solutions). This means that you can do things that were not possible before or you had to use webhooks and code that would run externally.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the name does not do it justice - at least for me the operations hub does not communicate all the things that you can do with it. But this is a marketing thing :)
One real issue I had was that I was using the programmable actions in workflows to connect to SaaS solutions. Programmable actions allowed me to prepare and send the data to the other solution. But because the other solution does not have its own "operations hub" I needed to also develop some middleware that moved the data from the other solution back into HubSpot. This could be solved if HubSpot would allow you to create webhook endpoints that would trigger programmable actions.
One real issue I had was that I was using the programmable actions in workflows to connect to SaaS solutions. Programmable actions allowed me to prepare and send the data to the other solution. But because the other solution does not have its own "operations hub" I needed to also develop some middleware that moved the data from the other solution back into HubSpot. I used it to solve 2 problems.
1. Move data from HubSpot to a different SaaS system.
2. To start a custom process inside HubSpot that I would not be able to build in workflows - after a form submission, I needed to create an opportunity, a service ticket, find a different contact to assign the ticket to and connect all of the entities together.
Since it is all inside HubSpot, its a lot easier because we don't need any additional infrastructure to run some basic code.

not so easy to understand at first and free tier is quite limited

Keeping data clean is the best thing operations hub solves for us.
Hubspot rocks!
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot makes managing the client journey more effective. From lead acquisition to nurturing, and managing through different stages of the client life cycle. Custom fields add the ability to fine-tune attributes that are specific to my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
It costs more than some competitive offerings.

Keeping tabs on my prospects and clients throughout each stage of their journey.
Really powerful software
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is great. For small businesses it provides a free or low cost CRM which can expand providing powerful tools for sales and marketing. We have grown with our HubSpot use and have a number of paid tools. The automation makes handling sales enquiries quick and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only disadvantage is to get all the features you have to commit to quite a large subscription. I'd love it if there were some more affordable features. Or I could unlock one or two with out spending tens of thousands a year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intregrating our inbound enquiries into one shared inbox whether that is from Facebook chat, our website instant chat or from website forms or emails has sped up the process of responding to high numbers of enquires amongst a team. Before we had instances where we were slow to reply or two people replied simultaneously to the same enquiry. Now we use standardised responses which can be triggered by anyone on the team and everyone is kept up to date who is dealing with it. We are dealing with every enquiry in a couple of minutes instead of hours or days.
