Pimly: WIP with upside potential

What do you like best about the product?
Pimlys search engine makes it efficient when looking over the vast array of our products. Allowing me to find what I need quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult user interface for beginners, making is difficult to get where I needed to go when I started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has constantly updated making changes all around that have increased UI accessibility and made things easier all around

What do you like best about the product?
Pimly formatting allows for quick and easy content generation for the online shopping platform. Allowing products to be quickly created, edited, and completed within a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transfer issues still occur. Sometimes what pops up on our webpage, is not what was intended in either formatting or content verbiage. Doesn't happen often anymore but can occasionally still occur if one isn't taking the correct steps to avoid it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pimly is constantly updating its platform to be efficient and ease road blockers that would give us trouble. A couple of examples. Pimly updated an issue with the creation of "Parent" Products. Originally, because of how broad our product lines were, we would have drop-down suggestions that we didn't actually offer. People used to be able to click on a green, 2.5" outlet when we only had that size available in red. This has since changed, and the drop-down menu only shows what we offer now. Another issue when I first started was that working on "children" products led to a really slow UI. This has also been worked on since, and now when I work on children's products, Pimly runs very quickly and efficiently with little to no loading times.

What do you like best about the product?
They always take our advice on product updates/improvements. It is really easy to get a 1:1 call with the main devs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a startup so there are some bugs. It has gotten better in the past year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us manage our information all in one place and allowing us to better do product families

Excellent Product for our Use Case

What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Pimly as our PIMDAM solution to store and manage images for our business to surface on our B2B website, and it's been a game changer to avoid using Salesforce storage in order to store high quality images and videos. Their team was incredibly helpful during implementation and have continued to provide fast, reliable support whenever issues arise. Pimly makes managing our digital assets simple and efficient — we’re really pleased with the experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have no complaints so far, it's been a great product!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pimly has helped us streamline how we categorise products and manage their associated images and details. By centralising this information, it allows our team to surface accurate, up-to-date product data not only within Salesforce but also on our Shopify storefront. This has improved both internal efficiency and the customer experience.

What do you like best about the product?
We use Pimly to manage Product data for Salesforce Commerce and other channels. Pimly utilizes Salesforce standard objects and seamlessly integrates with Salesforce clouds including Commerce and Service. The Pimly Team is responsible and incorporates feedback into the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any software, there is a learning curve for implementing the solution. The Pimly Team has been helpful with guidance and resolving issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Joining PIM with Salesforce has reduced time on working between disparate systems.

What do you like best about the product?
Well first and foremost as a Salesforce Implementor, it would be the fact that there is a PIM built natively on the platform. In terms of specific features beyond that, as a Salesforce B2B implementor, Pimly has been truly revolutionary in its ability to bring products to the Commerce site in an automated fashion. This was previously entirely manual and fraught with challenges.

I think in the future the number 1 factor will prove to be the delivery of product data at the hands of all Salesforce users as companies evolve incorporate this product data into all facets of the customer experience.

For now though, the ability to bring products into the commerce site is such a game changer that it would have to be my favorite thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pimly is extremely powerful for companies that have selected Salesforce for commerce and for other operational aspects and in that regards there is no comparison. For companies that are seeking to syndicate products to other channels and marketplaces, there is some work involved. Its absolutely possible, but I don't think it is the current focus of the product (Ex. Amazon, Walmart)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pimly is solving the issue of both storage of detailed product information and the syndication of this information to the Commerce Site. It manages all aspects of information, inheritance and digital assets that are needed to properly sell a product. It also solves the issue of putting this product information into the hands of the people in an organization that need it outside of just the commerce site. This includes sales and service individuals that rely on augmented product information to properly do their job and service the customer.

What do you like best about the product?
Being on the Salesforce platform offers unlimited potential for getting product data into the hands of whoever needs it. The Pimly team also listens to feedback and updates their product frequently based on said feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still very new software. That's it.....

What do you like best about the product?
What I really appreciate about PIMLY is how it keeps all our product details in one place. No more bouncing between spreadsheets or dealing with scattered systems. everything from SKUs and pricing to attributes and images is right where we need it, all in one clean organized view.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup required some help from support, but their team is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we had before PIMLY was inconsistent product data. Sales, marketing, and operations each had their own versions, which caused confusion and mistakes. now thanks to PIMLY, everyone accesses the same accurate information directly within Salesforce, making teamwork easier and much more dependable.

What do you like best about the product?
The integration is seamless and feels like a natural extension of the Salesforce platform. We were able to manage and enrich the product data directly within Salesforce, which eliminated the need for middleware or duplicative data entry. As a result, we were able to get products to multiple eCommerce storefronts faster and with greater accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looking forward to seeing improvements in the asset import speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pimly drastically simplified what used to be a fragmented process.

I think the interface is very intuitive for folks new to or already familiar with Salesforce

If you have complicated deployment needs, the initial implementation of configuration in or across multiple environments can be time consuming
