THE IAM TOOL FOR THE BEST
What do you like best about the product?
WSO2 identity server, it comes with a loads of good features that is just more than good, and the best of then are comprehensive IAM ( IDENTITY AND ACCESS MANAGEMENT) functionality, then comes the SSO protocols like SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, and OAuth 2.0, which allow users to log in once and access multiple functionality using different applications, then comes its Multi Tendency which allow users to customize things on their interests, its compelety open source which enables developers to perform their operations and help it make a better platform everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not a lot to describe in this particular section, I miss this one feature of customer support, which would have been a bit additional good part of this platform as we have to head to the community page all the time we face a problem, but community is well organized and doubts are solved in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this tool to provide our users a safe ecosystem in which they can work, use our products without a single hesitation. And WSO2 Identity Server is the tool which is helping us achieve that target , it is such a comprehensive tool with all the good features I have mentioned above that is helping us on every day to reach our goal. THis tools comes with a different sets of applications, we have customized it according to the need of our organisation to utilise the best from it.
Perfectly implemented IAM solution
What do you like best about the product?
I like WSO2 Identity solution as it reduces the time and efforts required to maintain a Identity management system. It's highly secure and has seamless integration connectors to our existing systems. I'm impressed with the way it handles the different authentication protocols. SSO is the way we implement all the accesses in our organisation WSO2 has made this problem easy to solve.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Less detailed documentation - the learning curve for us to integrate was very high as we had lot to unanswered questions on how to integrate it with our systems.
2. Need frequent patches on the security vulnerabilities.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the organisation grows the access management to different systems gets tricker, WS02 helped us solve this with this issue by providing a SaaS offering. Users didn't complaint about any issues logging in to the SSO enabled systems.

WSO2 provided the best solution for secure management and single sign-on capabilities for web applications and mobile applications. WSO2 server offers a wide range of features including authentication authorization, user management, and role-based access control.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to finding something to dislike, there is nothing comes to mind. This product provides the best features for identity management. The service is top-notch.

WSO2 Identity Server is a highly configurable and customizable solution, which may require a steep learning curve and expertise to implement and manage effectively. It'll be helpful if more learning resources are available.

WSO2 Identity Server enables organizations to set fine-grained access controls for applications and systems, which can help prevent unauthorized access and data breaches. WSO2 Identity Server supports multi-factor authentication, providing an additional security layer for sensitive applications and data. By Centralizing identity management and access control, organizations can streamline their IAM processes and reduce administrative overhead and it also provides a user-friendly interface enabling users to manage their identities, including passwords, profile information, and access to applications and systems.

Relativetely easy to configure following the official documentation
It cover different use cases for companies (sso over different standards protocols, adaptative authentication, multiples choices, etc)

What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface look & feel is ugly, 15 years ago was not bad the carbon console but nowadays need an update.
The server needs a mechanism for migrate configs over environments, something like carbon files in EI/MI is perfect

I have been working in different proyects related to Identity Server, most of them are using SSO and federated login with third parties like gmail, users management with LDAP and/or AD

Dependable solution for Identity and Access Management
What do you like best about the product?
WSO2 Identity server can handle multiple authentication protocols and We are able to integrate the Oauth 2.0 authentication with the mobility apps/ mobile devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentations are good but if we get more video tutorials it'll be easy to understand

WSO2 Identity Server is solving several problems related to identity and access management. One of the primary challenges faced by organizations is managing user identities and ensuring that the right users have access to the right resources
This is Identify Server help to manage api related signatures easily

We can access all information in one place. And Also looks very simple and easy to familiar and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
This UI/UX looks old. I suggest updating some new UI/UX designs as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
sharing all details with the entire project team one by one, It is too hard. So this tool helps us to share everything at the same moment. If we update anything, Others keep updated about that.

I like the vast possibility of integration removing the need to have several user bases by entering everything into an ecosystem that makes it possible to use in different systems with a simple configuration of the service provider

I am not satisfied with the product documentation which is complex to understand and is usually not enough to make some functionality work having to figure out how to make the functionality of the tool run correctly
