Good but complex to implement
What do you like best about the product?
I like the vast possibility of integration removing the need to have several user bases by entering everything into an ecosystem that makes it possible to use in different systems with a simple configuration of the service provider
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not satisfied with the product documentation which is complex to understand and is usually not enough to make some functionality work having to figure out how to make the functionality of the tool run correctly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sometimes the geolocation feature doesn't work as expected.

The Single sign-on integrates services in the organization and optimizes internal works.

What do you like best about the product?
Most important thing is each and every details is well documented and there are people who can respond when there any clarification need to be done. Even for the beginner to try sample modle application to everything is visible to understand the flow and visualize the flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can improve the ui aspects much considering in user aspects. And responsiveness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not the user of this when I was doing the internship I got the chance to work with identity server. It was very nice experience and I was able to get the basic authentication authorization flow ideas and also I was able to get ideas about the local authenticator and federated authenticators. And also it encourage me to write medium articles.

My least favorite feature:
Documentation has gaps, and information is missing. There should be more examples.
The fact that they have close releases hinders the documentation, as some things are from previous versions and do not work in the new version.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creation of a Single Login structure with GOV.BR federation and integration with UserStores using database.
The single login application allowed the integration of Internal Users (Active Directory) and External Users (Databases and LDAP).
In addition, the possibility of monitoring with the use of Analytical components (Total login, total failures, login origin, among others).
The WSO2 Identity Server allowed unifying 3 (three) data sources in a single tool, in addition to allowing access to several applications with a single login.

Fast, lots of authentication and federation options
What do you like best about the product?
Ease in configuring authentication, speed in authentication, the various options of security protocols in authentication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many pages on service provider settings. Organization of the list of service providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WSO2 IS solved the problem of multiple types of authentication being used. From the implementation of the WSO2 IS it was possible to standardize the authentication protocol of the institution, this was the greatest benefit achieved.

It was super easy to work with. I have tried many use cases. It was really cool.

The documentation should be improved as well as the supportive channels should be more responsive.

I don't have to worry about user management-related or user security-related things in my application development.
Open-source Identity Powerhouse
What do you like best about the product?
WSO2 has invested significant time into the design and functionality of its Identity Server product. This investment has delivered an extensible and scalable identity and access management solution for almost any use case. Identity Server has excellent support for the most common authentication and authorization protocols with an ever-growing marketplace of extensions. WSO2 participates in fostering an open-source culture with Identity Server by offering its core product, key features and extensions as open source projects. I have consumed these offerings to learn and develop my own extensions that fit perfectly into the WSO2 Identity Server ecosystem.
What do you dislike about the product?
WSO2 Identity Server can be difficult to get started and to find the appropriate documentation. The documentation website has undergone renovations starting in 5.9.0 and continue to be a better experience with each minor and major release. Another dislike is the recent security vulnerabilities that have been discovered. These vulnerabilities have highlighted a critical need for WSO2 Identity Server administrators to invest in patching their instances more often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides the ability to support multiple federated authentication providers. This enables us to set up service provider specific authentication scenarios and to create a seamless authentication experience between identity providers.
Great IAM platform
What do you like best about the product?
Open source with many standards well applied, light and practical. Support is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires high technical skills. Integration with legacy systems that uses proprietary authentication mechanisms is not straight forward. Making Salesforce authenticate through WSO2 required going back and forth with JIRA tickets. Purging tokens and sessions from our Oracle DB became challenging as the auto-cleanup function generated dead locks during transactions' peak hours. Licensing price schema went up, so the platform is not affordable as it used to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single sign-on and homologated authentication between legacy and modern platforms.
Great GUI, easier to learn and understand, Quick support response
What do you like best about the product?
Setting up IDP and SP on WSO2 IS is very easier. It was my first time using the SSO platform, and I am happy I started with WSO2. The best guide is the WSO2 Documentation available online.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes one has to wait for the support team to ask for the required files, which allows them to replicate the issue locally. A list would be helpful when opening a case, so one can upload the files accordingly and only wait for a positive response.

Act as a Single Sign-On platform for offered services.
WSO2 IAM - Fantastic open banking API suit
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using WSO2 Identity server for past 6 years. The Identity Server has exponentially evolved over the last few years. The way they have accomadated the customer requirements in addition to the already existing functional rich features are just awesome.
Kudos to their security team. Their responses to security vulnerabilities are faster than any other IAM tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
WSO2 should improve a lot with analytics. If that is not their focus area, they can remove it and move forward, recommending different analytics tools that WSO2 can integrate with.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WSO2 IAM is mainly used for Open Banking within our business. WSO2 Risk-based adaptive authentication, integration with external identity providers, and JWT management helped the company save time and money.
