Device Management is so simple now!
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji has made managing my employee's devices a dream. I'm not an IT Person by trade or profession so anything that makes management simple is key. The overview of each device is critical for managing updates and new device assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a bit of a barrier when I was setting up the platform as I don't have an IT background. Implementing apps that Kandji doesn't already have on the platform was challenging and often required support from members of my engineering team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is helping me centralize all the devices we currently own as a business. They're also making new hire onboarding a breeze from a technology standpoint - new hires can access their devices in minutes.
Seamless Deployment
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is far and away my favorite MDM to deploy in an Apple environment. The ease of creating blueprints for specific use cases and applying them org-wide is unparalleled.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kandji doesn't clean my house, so it can't do EVERYTHING, unfortunately...yet?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Kandji's deployment working out of the box, it has eliminated around 80% of our remote deployment issues in one fell swoop. If you're managing a dynamic work environment with users on-prem and remote, Kandji has your back.
I've become a Kandji evangelist
What do you like best about the product?
I can't name another vendor in my experience that provides such consistently OUTSTANDING support. From my account rep to the chat support team, are just incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints here at all. If I had to pick nits, it *might* not be as customizable as other offerings, but it's more than enough for my current org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Zero-touch rollout for a distributed workforce.
- Kandji Passport merges local admin accounts with SSO credentials.
- Software license mgmt

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great UI that's easy to use and learn. The support is phenomenal. No regrets.
Good service
What do you like best about the product?
It's simplicity. It lacks a few features that competitors have but by having those restrictions it simplifies managing devices in small to medium sized organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some reporting features are missing and are available only through the api which requires writing a script to get simple information. This is probably one of the biggest drawbacks in terms of features and it should be one of the easiest to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing device security and compliance. I also like the automated enrollment which saves a lot of time. The auto apps are a nice touch as well in terms of keeping commonly used apps up to date with security patches.
Happy Customer
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, integration capabilities, features and roadmap.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. Similar to any MDM initial learning curve is a bit steep but onboarding team more than makes up for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Traditional MDM, zero-touch deployment, security, deployments, remote management capabilities, asset management, visibility
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please consider onboarding services,it helps!
Customer-centricity shining through.
What do you like best about the product?
The support is the best feature of Kandji, always striving for client satisfaction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Technical issues that can only be resolved by restarting the device in recovery mode if a device is listed as missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End-user security comes with the knowledge that all specified security policies are implemented and verified at specified times.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Kandji has been exactly what they promise, peace of mind to anyone in a technical field is a foreign concept but Kandji doesn't give you a choice in the matter. From creating custom onboarding experiences for new joiners with logos to managing applications to ensure their validity, on to creating custom templates for different types of users that require specific access to resources and quite a lot more on offer as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
The website could be more responsive on mobile devices. And I don't like how pagination is implemented (it resets after page reload).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji helps to set up Macs without even touching them :) It also helps us keep in compliance with our security requirements.
Mac laptop fleet management made easy
What do you like best about the product?
We've rolled out Kandji for 25+ devices within 3 months and the setup of the different blueprints was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users feel scared by Kandji because it's so powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a fleet of unmanaged Macs some of which running grossly outdated MacOS versions, Kandji streamlines software updates and security controls for all the users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you wanna manage a fleet of Mac laptops Kandji is the best tool we've found so far.
Huge Kandji fan
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji does an excellent job of balancing ease of use and being a powerful tool. It's so easy to get things up and running, and to deploy advanced security to our environments, and it saves us a huge amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest complaint I have is that on the smaller plans, things like API access are an additional (and fairly high) price. I wish they would include all of that in their product regardless of company size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage several companies that use Macs, and have replaced all of our management with Kandji. It has saved us a huge amount of time, and helped us deliver a much better experience to all of the users. Other solutions required a lot more custom work and babysitting, and Kandji has helped us achieve much higher compliance, with much better results, all while delivering a much better experience for both end users and admins.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Kandji is a great product with a great team. I highly recommend giving them a try.
Great product, fantastic support
What do you like best about the product?
The entire process - from onboarding to rollout to troubleshooting issues with Kandji support has been a pleasure. Everyone on the Kandji team is dedicated to our success, and do their best to help us achieve that. The platform itself is quite user-friendly, and support is very responsive with troubleshooting. We especially enjoy the Liftoff feature - as a fully remote team, we really appreciate being able to customize the onboarding experience for new team members in a zero-touch way, making the experience fantastic for them right out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation for processes has been a little lacking, often not offering the complete picture as to how to troubleshoot particular issues, requiring a touchpoint with customer service that might have been avoided with more complete documentation. Of course all interactions with customer service and support are wonderful, and very responsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is solving the problem of remotely managing our fleet of devices, all across the world. It is easy to stick to all of our SOC2 requirements, and to solve user issues remotely (eg. password reset in a flash!).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend
