Great Support!
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Kandji's support team! I often use the chat to ask about how to set up my blueprints or troubleshoot a problem I might have. Additionally, it's great that their support team has a great understanding of Apple products.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was user-facing documentation. There is plenty of documentation for admins, but I struggle to explain Kandji to my co-workers. I created my own documentation that I update regularly and I share the "So I Do That Video," but it would be great if Kandji had some I could share. Documentation on how Kandji works, the different types of notifications, and how to use self-service would be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a remote workspace, so being able to log into Kandji and check the status of our Macs is great. Instead of asking employees questions about their device, I can go into the portal and find what I need. This leads to faster problem-solving!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can manage all enterprise-level equipment and have established blueprints and processes for all of our IT assets going forward.

Perfect MDM for managing all Apple devices
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji has one of the best UI in an MDM that I have seen, and it's very easy to set up both the front and backend. I like the support team responding quickly and helping out with any questions we had, I think they have very good documentation that we can refer anytime.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think this is a great product, not a dislike but would like to see more Auto apps in the portal and the ability to support users remotely with built-in feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest one for me is "zero-touch deployment", I use to spend a few hours setting up all the laptops manually with each new hire. After getting Kandji we are sending laptops directly from the apple store, this has greatly increased our onboarding experience
Sure I would for Mac devices.
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji has a great overview of all our devices and is relatively easy to set up from initial onboarding to rollout. This program has allowed us to save an incredible amount of time for other duties.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Users (admins) could use some more granular permission sets for other admins. From what we've experienced the Super Admin is the lone holder of all permissions and that keeps from other admins from doing more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've taken back a ton of time when it comes to onboarding and troubleshooting issues, especially those that revolve around applications. We've been able to lock down certain access so that our devices don't come back to us locked by the user when they're not with the organization anymore.
We've also been able to organize our device count more accurately which has enabled us to make more financially conscience decisions for our department.

Best MacBook MDM solution I used so far

What do you dislike about the product?
- The pricing structure/tiers are not ideal but that might not be an issue for everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My previous MDM solution was buggy, slow, and pretty restrictive when it comes to customizability. The customer support was also slow to respond and not very helpful. Kandji solved all those issues. I discovered that their FAQ/Resource pages are very helpful and often times I find my answer there or at least a very good guidance document that can help me build custom scripts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I tested and worked with multiple other MDM solutions and this one was the best by far. The pricing structure might be a bit offputting but it saved me much time on Macbook administration and helped me make imaging/deploying much faster. These points were enough to justify the price for myself and our leadership.

We are automating and simplifying our device management process. It's cost-effective and user-friendly.

Nothing at the moment, the product is really easy to use.

We need to manage a fleet of Macbooks and we don't have experience managing Mac. Kandji made it incredibly simple to pick up and start managing these devices. Enrollment/Liftoff process was smooth and Passport works like a charm.

Simple and Powerful
What do you like best about the product?
The web interface is reliable and simple to use. The platform is intuitive enough that we don't need a dedicated IT role or consultant to ensure ongoing secure device management.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much not to like, I hope they continue to expand options for iOS and tvOS devices, but their team is constantly pushing updates and expanding the offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a small organization that needs a light touch solution for device management as we operate in a space where data and device security is critical. Kandji makes it easy for us to monitor all our devices and ensure that if a devices was lost or stolen that the onboard data remains secure and can be remotely managed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If ease of setup and ongoing maintenance is a priority, it's hard to imagine a better MDM.

What do you like best about the product?
There are many things I love about Kanji, but the number 1 is Kandji's support team, the support is amazing and you get help in the moment.
I am a one-person department and it is really hard to work with an MDM that requires so much maintenance, Kandji has made my job so much easier, from enrolling machines, deploying apps and pushing updates- I could not be happier, I will 100% recommend this to my colleagues.
