Manage Engine Network Configuration Manager is suitable tool to save device configuration.
What do you like best about the product?
Device Configuration Backup and restore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Manage Engine Network Configuration Manager is comparatively costly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device setup and configuration made easy using NCM and save lot of time for reconfiguration of multiple network devices Routers Firewalls etc.
No Brainer For Any Existing ManageEngine Clients

One of the most cost effective tool for Managing your network configuration and backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support requires improvement with the introduction of SLA's
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows to take configuration backups which is a life saver when there is a device failure or an outage. It can highlight the changes made and records the user name.
NCM is your savior!
What do you like best about the product?
A single interface (bundled with many features) for configuration backup, change management, and security compliance makes this tool very valuable for any Network and Security team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific as the tool is really good in its deliverables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining backup is always a challenge and NCM really helped that task by automated backups. Security hardening of network devices is another on-going challenge for any network professional, but NCM really helped to identify and mitigate the security vulnerabilities.
Good Mid Level tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to see all devices and errors. It is not terribly difficult to add devices. It works and integrates with ServiceNow (which is a big plus), including ServiceNow CMDB software options.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not alot that I dislike. If I had to pick something, it would be tech support only being 24x5 and not 24x7. And some features only being available on the more expensive Enterprise version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to see our network configuration and be alerted to vulnerable firmware as well as document or audit changes. It has enabled our network and complaince teams the ability to centralize some administrative and technical functions

we can not backup directly to another server when exported the configuration.

before we use this software, our network administrator backup the configuration manually and take more time.

What do you like best about the product?
Simplifies the network planning process with an easy to use GUI.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is lacking certain functionality such as agent deployment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inherited an ancient infrastructure and ManageEngine is helping us bring it in to the future.
