An amazing experience using Applitools
What do you like best about the product?
Taking screenshots on specific regions is great.
Also I like the "Insights" view on the dashboard.

Not a clear way to see the current baselines in a dedicated place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Elements in shadow code are not accessible using xpaths so using Applitools was great to check values in such fields.
Some complex contents with dynamically created class names/ids was difficult to check, but very easy using Applitools.
With Applitools we solved also all the styling checking issues - one screen shot and that's done for several checks more or less easy to perform (sometimes impossible) with standard checks.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Applitools is the ease of use. It is very simple to get started with, and there are a lot of helpful tutorials and guides on how to use it effectively. Their customer support is great too! I have found the software to be reliable and accurate, which is important for ensuring the quality of my testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to using Applitools, but once you get the hang of it, it's a powerful tool that can save you a lot of time and effort in testing your web applications. The documentation can be more detailed in some areas. There's nothing much that I dislike!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By automating the process of taking screenshots and comparing them, Applitools can provide accurate and up-to-date information on how an application looks. The ultrafast grid significantly reduces the execution time of our visual tests.
It does what it is expected to do and is consistent in visual testing

What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't correctly validate for few scenarios in Chrome, the alternate was to use edge chromium.
Number of screenshots available for validations can be a bit higher irrespective of plan chosen

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps in validations on applications built on third-party apps, Integrates perfectly with Selenium framework and reduces the number of lines of code and ensures quick validations and results everytime.

I mainly use applitools through Testim, the integration is sometimes good but not always.

Bugs and unexplained behaviour.
When we had problems with thee Testim integrartion the solutions were sometimes to add steps that were unclear to us.

It gives you an immidiate fidback on many platforms at once and very fast

The UI of the dashboard could be a bit confusing and with old look but I got used to it I guess

I like the AI-driven cool features, multi-browser support, visual tests, super nice dashboard etc

Well I think from a cost perspective it's a bit steep, which can be considered

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly, easy to integrate and use, stable. Applitools actually has a very smart algorithm for identifying whether the current page matches to the baseline.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we really need to select very specific locator for the area we want to check (ex: span would not work properly but a div for same area yes).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps saving a lot of time with regression testing for all the components all over our webpage. We can focus on more creative tasks and it help us a lot finding more bugs!

The communication with Applitools is really good. I want to thank Rivka and Talia for their commitment and for organizing the following sessions:
- Initial meeting - We had a wonderful presentation by Talia and Rivka for the Matching algorithms, regions, baseline maintenance and have provided us with additional resources
- Implementation meeting - We had an implementation meeting with Rivka where we have reviewed our tests and Rivka provided us with some advices on best practices and indicated what we can update in our code to be more efficient
- Follow up meeting - A follow up meeting from the implementation testing is scheduled for tomorrow, where we will review all of the changes made by us and will discuss other functionalities available

Well I cannot be useful here, because for now I am just starting to use Applitools, once we have some tests integrated and running, then I might give more valuable feedback.
