About the Program

The AWS Ambassador Program builds a community of highly qualified and influential employees at AWS Partners. AWS Ambassadors are recognized as influential AWS professionals in driving their organization's AWS proficiency and supporting the community through thought leadership. AWS Ambassadors possess and maintain multiple AWS certifications and possess fundamental AWS expertise and experience supporting our customers in their success with the AWS cloud.

  • AWS Ambassadors must be employees of AWS Partners, passionate about contributing to the community, and interested in working closely with customers implementing AWS Workloads. AWS Ambassadors must hold at least two AWS technical certifications at Professional or Specialty level and regularly contribute to the AWS community through a variety of communication channels.

  • AWS Ambassadors are considered an extension of the AWS team. Both AWS Heroes and AWS Ambassadors contribute to the AWS community through publicly consumable content focused on thought leadership, communicating best practices, and in-depth technical write-ups. Unlike AWS Heroes, AWS Ambassadors are employed by AWS Partners.

  • If you are an employee of an AWS Partner, are driving your organization's AWS proficiency, share your expertise and experience with peers, hold multiple advanced AWS Certifications, and demonstrate thought leadership with the AWS community through public presentations, open-source projects, and social media, contact us to see if you qualify for the AWS Ambassador Program.
