Amazon Web Services is pleased to announce the publication of the article “Deploy a Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Server Farm in the AWS Cloud in 6 Simple Steps.”
Based on the previously published white paper in April, “Microsoft SharePoint Server on AWS Reference Architecture,” the article provides a step-by-step approach to the setup and deployment of the public website scenario described in the white paper. The article also includes all of the necessary resources you will need to deploy a SharePoint Server farm repeatedly, such as the easy-to-launch AWS CloudFormation templates, and a link to the “Advanced Implementation Guide,” which provides detailed instructions on how to customize and launch a fully functional, enterprise-class SharePoint Server farm to suit your requirements. All templates are available to download and customize.
