We are excited to announce that AWS CloudFormation now supports provisioning and managing of Read Replicas for Amazon RDS.
AWS CloudFormation gives developers and systems administrators an easy way to create and manage collections of AWS resources. Amazon RDS Read Replicas make it easy to elastically scale out beyond the capacity constraints of a single DB Instance for read-heavy database workloads. With this launch, provisioning and managing of application architectures with RDS Read Replicas is easier.
