AWS Config now allows you to delete the configuration recorder using the AWS SDK or CLI.
AWS Config uses the configuration recorder to store the configurations of supported AWS resources in your account. You can also specify the types of resources you want AWS Config to record in the configuration recorder. If you set up AWS Config using the console or the AWS CLI, AWS Config automatically creates the configuration recorder with a default name and then starts it for you. With this launch, you can now delete an existing configuration recorder and create a new configuration recorder with a name of your choice.
Refer our documentation on Managing the Configuration Recorder to learn more. Download the latest AWS SDK or CLI to start using this capability.
