AWS CloudTrail Adds Event Source Filter for API Activity History

AWS CloudTrail now supports filtering on the Event Source attribute when looking up events in your API activity history. This allows you to narrow your search results by the specific AWS services you are interested in. For example, you can now filter results to only show IAM activities such as role creation and policy application by filtering on iam.amazonaws.com in the Event Source attribute. 

In addition to Event Source, AWS CloudTrail also supports filtering API history by Event ID, Event Name, Resource Name, Resource Type, Time Range and User Name attributes. Please visit our product documentation page for more information.
