The Amazon WorkDocs Administrative SDK provides API-based administrator level access to WorkDocs site resources. With the Administrative SDK, software vendors and IT organizations can set up their applications to work with WorkDocs. As a result, WorkDocs now allows you to use third party applications for content management, content migration, virus-scanning, data loss prevention (DLP), and eDiscovery.

The Administrative SDK offer the capability to perform content and permissions updates, and manage users, programmatically. It is available for Java, Python, Go, Java Script, .NET, PHP, and Ruby, and it’s integrated with AWS Identity and Access Management to allow you to manage roles and permissions. You can also use AWS Simple Notification Service for notifications, and AWS Cloud Trail to monitor API calls.

The Administrative SDK is available today in all AWS regions where WorkDocs is available. To learn more about the WorkDocs Administrative SDK, please see Administrative SDK.

To start your 30 day trial, log in to the WorkDocs console and create your WorkDocs site.
