Amazon Inspector is now available in the US West (Northern California) region.
Amazon Inspector is an on-demand security assessment service that helps AWS customers determine the security of the applications and operating systems deployed in their Amazon EC2 environments. Amazon Inspector enables our customers to assess their environments for vulnerabilities or deviations from security best practices in minutes, any time they need. Customers can use various rules packages to evaluate their configurations against thousands of known exploits, and receive detailed security findings with recommendations to address discovered issues.
With this launch, Amazon Inspector is now available in the following eight regions: US East (Northern Virginia), US West (Northern California), US West (Oregon), EU (Ireland), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Sydney), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo).
