Amazon Glacier Console Is Now Available in Japanese and Korean Languages

Posted on: Sep 7, 2017

Amazon Glacier is a secure, durable, and extremely low-cost storage service for data archiving and online backup. Today, AWS made the Amazon Glacier console available in Japanese and Korean languages. The availability of Glacier console in five languages—it was already available in English, French, and Chinese—reduces the need to have multilingual staff that can manage and administer Glacier vaults and archives.

Using Amazon Glacier, customers can reliably store large or small amounts of data for as little as $0.004 per gigabyte per month, a significant savings compared to on-premises solutions. To keep costs low yet suitable for varying retrieval needs, Amazon Glacier provides three options for access to archives, from a few minutes to several hours.
