Amazon EC2 Container Service (Amazon ECS) is now available in the Asia Pacific (Seoul) region.
Amazon ECS is a container management service for deploying and scaling Docker containers in production. With Amazon ECS, you just add the server capacity you need to your cluster and upload your container images. Amazon ECS takes care of the rest, deploying containers across your cluster of servers and monitoring their health. Amazon ECS handles load balancing and scaling your containers, while allowing you to securely control each container’s access to databases and other resources.

With this launch, Amazon ECS is available in US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (N. California), US West (Oregon), Canada (Central), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), EU (Frankfurt), EU (Ireland), EU (London), and China (Beijing) regions.
