AWS Marketplace, a curated digital catalog with over 4,200 software listings from more than 1,280 software sellers, has announced an enhanced product detail page for Amazon Machine Image (AMI) based products. With this new product page design, customers are enabled with easier navigation, readability, and clarity.
Customers will see new design elements, including shorter topical sections that feature new visual elements and a new header that has navigational shortcuts. The new product detail page also includes pricing estimators, vendor recommendations, and information boxes with hyperlink collections. This means that AWS customers enjoy the same benefits of a wide selection of products across AWS Marketplace, while easily being able to find information for comparison, research, and usage of each product.
Customers can quickly find relevant information, understand product pricing, and consistently see what product information is available to them, while software sellers get the ability to more effectively present the details of their products to customers. Existing AWS Marketplace sellers will see the new product detail page immediately for any AMI product, including those deployed using AWS CloudFormation templates.
