AWS Step Functions Now Available in Asia Pacific (Singapore) and Canada (Central) Regions
AWS Step Functions is now available in two additional AWS Regions: Asia Pacific (Singapore) and Canada (Central). Step Functions makes it easy to coordinate the components of distributed systems, serverless applications, and microservices using visual workflows. Building applications from individual components that each perform a discrete function lets you scale and change applications quickly.
AWS Step Functions provides a graphical console to arrange and visualize the components of your application as a series of steps. It automatically triggers and tracks each step, and retries when there are errors, so your application executes in order and as expected. Step Functions manages the operations and underlying infrastructure for you to help ensure your application is available at any scale.
AWS Step Functions is available in the US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), Canada (Central), EU (Ireland), EU (Frankfurt), EU (London), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Singapore), and Asia Pacific (Sydney) regions.
