Amazon WorkSpaces is now available in the Canada (Central) Region. With availability in eleven AWS Regions, WorkSpaces lets you deploy cloud-based desktops close to your users and data while also meeting local regulatory requirements, all without the cost and complexity of building on-premises Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).

Amazon WorkSpaces is a fully managed, secure Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) solution which runs on AWS. With WorkSpaces, you can provision virtual, cloud-based desktops for your users, providing them access to the documents, applications, and resources they need, anywhere, anytime, from any supported device. You can quickly add or remove WorkSpaces to meet the needs of your dynamic workforce and still provide a more responsive experience to end users. You can pay either monthly or hourly, just for the WorkSpaces you launch, which helps you save money when compared to traditional desktops and on-premises VDI solutions.
