Amazon RDS for Oracle now supports the ability to update your sqlnet.ora parameters. The sqlnet.ora file includes parameters that configure Oracle Net features on Oracle Database servers and clients. Using these parameters, you can modify properties for connections in and out of the database.
You can update sqlnet.ora parameters on RDS Oracle instances through the existing parameter group mechanism. You can choose between the two apply-methods, "pending-reboot" and "immediate"; this will help in staging the changes together with your potential code changes. sqlnet.ora parameters will be prefixed with 'sqlnetora.'.
Amazon RDS for Oracle makes it easy to set up, operate, and scale Oracle database deployments in the cloud. See the AWS Region Table for regional availability.
