AWS Device Qualification Program
You can now qualify your device hardware by validating interoperability with AWS IoT Core, AWS IoT Greengrass, Amazon FreeRTOS, and Amazon Kinesis Video Streams. Open to all AWS Partner Network (APN) Partners to easily qualify their devices. Once devices are qualified, APN Partners can list their hardware in the AWS Partner Device Catalog.
Qualifying hardware and listing it as part of a device qualification program in the device catalog allows customers to easily find and source devices needed to be successful with their IoT projects. The goal is to provide our customers with the assurance they need when selecting required hardware. These qualified devices are searchable through our AWS Partner Device Catalog which promotes qualified hardware and includes links to buy listed devices.
To qualify hardware on AWS IoT Greengrass and Amazon FreeRTOS, APN Partners use the AWS IoT Device Tester, an online qualification tool that automates the qualification process for the most current AWS service versions without the requirement of sending in hardware to AWS, or involving AWS resources in the process.
AWS Device Qualification Program is available in US West (Portland), US East (N Virginia), US East (Ohio) and Dublin, Ireland with more locations coming soon.
