AWS Lambda Console shows recent invocations using CloudWatch Logs Insights

Posted on: Jun 20, 2019

You can now see statistics from recent invocations of your Lambda functions directly in the Lambda monitoring tab.

CloudWatch Logs Insights enables you to interactively search and analyze your log data in Amazon CloudWatch Logs. Now, the monitoring tab in the Lambda console shows you statistics for the ten most recent invocations including the Duration, Billed Duration, Memory Size, and the MaxMemoryUsed. It also shows you the Billed Duration, Memory Size, and GB-Seconds for the ten most expensive invocations. To find the logs for a specific invocation more quickly, you can click the link to the Log Stream to get to the right CloudWatch Log Stream.
