When using AWS DataSync, you now have the option of automatically generating the CloudWatch log group and resource policy required to publish logs for your data transfer, simplifying task creation and monitoring set up.
DataSync is an online data transfer service that simplifies, automates, and accelerates copying large amounts of data to and from AWS Storage services. When you create a new data transfer task using the AWS Management Console, DataSync can automatically generate a CloudWatch log group and resource policy. Once you start the task, DataSync will publish logs regarding your data transfer, such as the name, size, and timestamp for each transferred file or object.
