Customers of EC2 Image Builder can now develop and troubleshoot components to customize and test Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) on their laptops or development & test servers.
Customers can download a standalone application to develop new EC2 Image Builder components using a declarative schema or troubleshoot existing components locally on their development/test machines. Components developed or modified locally can be used in EC2 Image Builder pipelines to customize and test Windows and Linux AMIs.
