Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra)—a scalable, highly available, and fully managed Cassandra-compatible database service— now is in scope for FedRAMP Moderate compliance to help you run highly regulated Cassandra workloads more easily.

Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is a US government-wide program that delivers a standard approach to the security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. Now, you can run Cassandra workloads that are subject to FedRAMP Moderate compliance more easily by using Amazon Keyspaces, a fully managed and serverless database service.

Amazon Keyspaces is in scope for FedRAMP-Moderate compliance in the US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Northern California), and US West (Oregon) AWS Regions.

To learn more, see FedRAMP in the Compliance Offerings section of the AWS Cloud Security website.
