Starting today, Amazon EC2 C5n instances are available in AWS Asia Pacific (Jakarta) Region.
C5n instances, based on the AWS Nitro System and powered by 3.0 GHz Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors (Skylake), offer customers 100Gbps networking for network-bound workloads, while continuing to take advantage of the security, scalability and reliability of Amazon’s Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). Customers can also take advantage C5n instances network performance to accelerate data transfer to and from S3, reducing the data ingestion wait time for applications and speeding up delivery of results. A wide range of applications such as High Performance Computing (HPC), analytics, machine learning, Big Data and data lake applications can benefit from these instances.
With this regional expansion, C5n instances are available today in US East (Ohio, N. Virginia), US West (N. California, Oregon), Europe (London, Ireland, Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, Stockholm), Middle East( Bahrain), Asia Pacific (Bombay, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, Jakarta), Africa (Capetown), South America (São Paulo), and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions.
