Amazon Kendra is an intelligent search service powered by machine learning, that enables organizations to provide more relevant information to customers and employees, when they need it.
Today, we are excited to announce Kendra’s support for tabular search, allowing customers to search more intuitively and effectively through tables embedded in HTML pages.
With Amazon Kendra’s tabular search for HTML, customers can ask questions like “what’s the APR on the business credit card?” or “What’s the credit card with lowest annual fees?” where the answers are contained in a credit card comparison table on a marketing web page. Tabular search works out-of-the-box on a wide range of HTML table formats and domains, no setup or configuration needed.
Amazon Kendra tabular search is available in the following AWS regions: US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), Europe (Ireland), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Canada (Central) and AWS GovCloud (US-West).
