AWS Mainframe Modernization is now Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant, enabling customers to use AWS Mainframe Modernization for applications that store, process, and transmit information for use cases such as payment processing that are subject to PCI DSS.
AWS Mainframe Modernization service allows you to modernize and migrate on-premise mainframe applications to AWS Cloud native fully-managed runtime. For the modernization, it enables modernization patterns like refactor and replatform, as well as augmentation patterns supported by data replication and file transfer. With PCI DSS compliance, customers can use the service to modernize mainframe-based applications related to payment processing transactions or leverage mainframe-based payment processing data with AWS Cloud based applications.
AWS Mainframe Modernization is generally available in the following AWS Regions: US East (Ohio, N. Virginia), US West (N. California, Oregon), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Paris), and South America (São Paulo).
