OpenSearch Service 2.9 now comes with OpenSearch Service Integrations, where customers can take advantage of new schema standards such as Open Telemetry and build dashboards based on an agreed up on schema between your ingestion pipeline and OpenSearch Service.
Customers who get started with OpenSearch Service want to quickly start analyzing their data, but they don’t know where to start. The process of creating a visualization and dashboard can be cumbersome. What customers want is an easy out-of-the-box solution which sets their favorite dashboards up for them. Now with OpenSearch Integrations, customers can easily setup new dashboards with the click of a button. Simply update your ingestion pipeline to use OpenTelemetry, route your schema specific data into an index in OpenSearch Service, and install the desired Integration from within OpenSearch Dashboards. As part of the launch customers will see 10 integrations with out of the box dashboards for services such as Amazon RDS, Amazon S3, and AWS Cloudfront come with out of the box dashboards and more to come in the coming months.
