AWS Entity Resolution is now a HIPAA eligible service, enabling healthcare and life sciences organizations to now use AWS Entity Resolution to match, link, and enhance patient records spread across multiple data stores such as electronic health records (EHRs), diagnostic laboratories, claims, insurance, and billing platforms.
AWS Entity Resolution is a configurable, machine learning (ML)–powered service that helps organizations match, link, and enhance records stored across multiple applications, channels, and data stores. You can get started in minutes using matching workflows that are flexible, scalable, and can seamlessly connect to your existing applications - without any expertise in entity resolution or ML. With this release, if you have an executed Business Associate Addendum (BAA) with AWS, you can now use AWS Entity Resolution for workloads that are subject to HIPAA compliance.
AWS Entity Resolution is generally available in the following AWS Regions: US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), and Europe (London).
