Scaling Groups, a new feature of Amazon FinSpace with Managed kdb Insights, enables you to run multiple kdb Clusters on a single compute instance. This feature allows you to optimize the infrastructure spend for your kdb applications.
Today, many kdb customers run multiple kdb processes on a single compute host. Scaling Groups allow you to take this same approach with Managed kdb Insights on AWS. With Scaling Groups, you can run multiple kdb workloads, called Clusters, on shared compute that you provision. This allows you to maximize utilization of compute in your FinSpace Managed kdb Insights Environment.
Scaling Groups are available in all AWS regions where Amazon FinSpace with Managed kdb Insights is available.
