Amazon Lightsail now offers a simplified experience to configure your WordPress website on Lightsail. You can set up your website on your Virtual Private Server (VPS) by simply following the workflow that will configure and secure your WordPress application for you.
You can use this workflow to eliminate the complexity and time spent configuring your website. You no longer need to spend time watching how-to videos or reading documents. Instead, you can use the new workflow to complete all the necessary steps involved in configuring your WordPress application. Through this workflow, Lightsail will also set up a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate to secure your website with HTTPS.
You can use this feature through the Lightsail Console (accessed from AWS Console) and use certificate setup through AWS Command Line Interface (CLI), or AWS SDKs for all instances launched with WordPress blueprint in all regions supporting Lightsail.
