AWS Entity Resolution expands support for customer compliance with ISO and SOC

Posted on: May 22, 2024

AWS Entity Resolution has added certification for System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports. Amazon Web Services (AWS) maintains certifications through audits of its controls to help appropriately manage information security risks that affect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company and customer information.

AWS Entity Resolution helps companies easily match, link, and enhance related records across multiple applications and data stores to improve data quality so that they can better understand and engage their customers. AWS Entity Resolution offers advanced matching techniques, such as rule-based matching and machine learning (ML) models to help customers more accurately link related sets of customer information. AWS Entity Resolution is now in-scope for SOC 1, 2, and 3 reporting. You can download copies of the AWS ISO certificates and SOC reports in AWS Artifact to use them to jump-start your own certification efforts.

This adds to the list of compliance programs that AWS Entity Resolution is in-scope for, which also includes Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) eligibility. AWS Entity Resolution is generally available in US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), and Europe (London).
