Now Open: May Qualifier races

Race in console May 1 - 31, 2021
Pro Division
Kuei Super Raceway
Artboard 1May Pto Kuei SuperSpeedway

Format: head-to-head | Laps: 3 continuous | Penalties: 5 seconds

Kuei Super Raceway adds pro difficulty to its short track counterpart by extending overall length (61.292m) in the form of an extended straightaway combined with a technical 4x double apex section. It is named after 3rd place DeepRacer League finalists Kuei of NCTU CGI Taiwan.

Top developers from last month's open division compete in the inaugural pro race in a head-to-head format. To climb the leaderboard, the fastest developers will lay down their fastest time in a 3 lap attempt, while avoiding 5 second penalties for collisions with bot cars and veering offtrack.  At the end of the month, the top 16 racers will advance to the Pro Finale, to race LIVE for prizes and glory. Tune in for the LIVE Pro Finale

At the end of each month the top 16 racers on the Pro leaderboard advance to compete in the Pro Finale. There, developers will submit their models to race LIVE in the AWS DeepRacer console.

For May, the Pro Finale will consist of an object avoidance race taking place on the Kuei Raceway. Each developer will have two attempts to achieve the fastest single lap time. When the dust has settled, the top 10 developers on the Finale leaderboard receive AWS DeepRacer Evo devices, while the Top 3 have the chance to earn an expenses paid trip to compete in the AWS DeepRacer League Championships at AWS re:Invent.

Win prizes and glory

New for 2021
the AWS DeepRacer League has over 5x more chances to win prizes than ever before. Developers can participate each month to earn unique rewards and move up the ranks to unlock physical prizes and experiences!
