Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a participant in the MiDEAL Extended Purchasing Program.

About the contract

AWS holds Contract No. 230000000198 through December 6, 2027 with the State of Michigan.  This contract offers eligible customers a direct path to procure AWS cloud hosting services.

MiDEAL is the State of Michigan's extended purchasing program that allows Michigan cities, townships, villages, counties, school districts, universities, colleges, and nonprofit hospitals to buy goods and services from state contracts. The program is authorized by Michigan Legislation and has been in existence since 1984. Members benefit directly from the reduced cost of goods and services and indirectly by eliminating the time needed to process bids. Visit the MiDEAL Website.

Ordering instructions and resources

Please contact aws-michigan-ea@amazon.com for a copy of the onboarding document, which outlines the step-by-step instructions on getting started with AWS on the State of Michigan and MiDEAL contract. The onboarding process involves creating your AWS account and submitting your Purchase Order (PO) and/or your AWS account information to aws-michigan-ea@amazon.com. After successfully onboarding to the contract, you can start buying AWS services under the contract terms and customizing your account controls.
