Good backup software
What do you like best about the product?
The software works really well. Backup to Wasabi is fast and file level restore times are reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is dated. Not as feature rich as the competition. License renewals sometimes fail. Licence minimums.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I moved a client to MSP360 as couldn't get Veeam to install for some bizarre reason and needed to implement a fast solution.
Great backup management
What do you like best about the product?
I am using just the backup management features of MSP360 to back up data to Amazon S3 buckets. The features of MSP360 are very user-friendly and it is quite stable. I like having the SAAS management console that allows me to check and maintain backups from anywhere. After setting up the backup, I have not had a single failure with the backups. I also like the feature allowing us to report both successes and failures and send them by email. The app (I am using the Android version) works well, and will push notifications reporting backup job success or failures.
What do you dislike about the product?
In all, there is nothing I have found that I do not like about MSP360. I had some minor hitches getting the process set up to begin with, but was able to contact support and get those issues quickly resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were originally using CLI to sync backups with Amazon S3 storage. While this worked well enough, it would be hard to maintain going forward. Using MSP360 to replace the CLI process has made it much easier to maintain and track the backups, and gives immediate feedback when something goes wrong.
Great backup solution

Cloud storage solution, unattended automated backups

Lack of auto update capabilities for client software

Solves the need for an unattended backup solution and it has proven to be a life saver more than once
It has been a huge asset to our company and the ease of us is great!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that most of the jobs can be managed by the web GUI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to manage the VM Backups from the web GUI
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it is allowing us to take an image of a server and allowing us to move it to a new machine or to the cloud. This gives us the flexibility we require
Awesome service for MSPs
What do you like best about the product?
It is a round product. Easy to use, well documented, with a reasonable pricing model and with a rewarding sense of security when using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licenses date of expiry starts when they are purchased, not when they are activated. It would be great to have the possibility to activate them, let's say, in three months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its management panel is great. Other self hosted services just send a mail report but... id the system is broken, you can miss a failed backup. This central management panel avoids all that. You don't lose missed backups if your systems are down.
Is a good election

Backup cloud to cloud es very easy and the cost are very cheap

To know the cost for each customer. Needs to have more information about the cost for each one

A Great New Backup and Remote Software Emerging
What do you like best about the product?
MSP360 is a solid backup solution that works. Server backup is easy, and does not fail often like some others. Remote access with 'Connect" is easy enough to install remotely or on-site, and is pretty reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some changes that need implemented on the remote access solution, like better unattended access, and allowing more customizations on remote installs. Sometimes the Remote Access solution locks and won't allow mouse clicks until reconnected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to access many remote computers where needed and I can log in unattended if I set the program up to start with Windows. I am backing up employee computers for access to our data in case an employee takes data with them. I am also backing up servers automatically without having to check the backups constantly.
MSP360 Managed Backup - Great solution for managed backup at an affordable price for SMB
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, affordable for SMB and range of storage providers
What do you dislike about the product?
Updates have solved any issues we were having. Native Synology NAS support would be good with an app instead of using a docker container.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing managed backup for SMB clients on smaller budgets. MSP360 licensing is very reasonable and suits our business model.
Great Solution

We have been using the solution for several years and have verified its quality and evolution. In a competitive market, they are able to differentiate themselves through a combination of technology, service and adequate prices.

They could have an even more versatile solution in terms of storage.

They offer an easy-to-use and quick-to-implement solution.
MSP360 backup decent product and a very competitive price
What do you like best about the product?
It works and is so competitive no one else can beat it for price
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. I am sure we are only touching the surface of what it can do from a centralised management point of view as well.

It allows us to focus on other s areas of our MSP business leaving the clients server backups covered.
