Great backup solution
What do you like best about the product?
After the discontinuance of Crashplan Home I trialled a number of backup programs with the intention of using Backblaze B2 for storage. CloudBerry was easily the best because it is extremely flexible, allows fine control of settings, clearly shows the details of each backup plan, backs up fast, and just works. Judging by the version history it is also under active development with useful new features being added regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
From a home user perspective the complexity and numerous steps involved in creating a backup plan or even restoring a single file may be a disadvantage. However overall I think the flexibility of the software justifies this complexity, and it will not concern enterprise users.
It would be nice to have a grandfather-father-son type retention system available, and I understand this is coming. It would also be good if the software made it clearer what changing the retention settings on an existing backup plan would do - whether they would be applied retrospectively or only prospectively.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective backup solution
Super easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
What I liked the most was the fact that the interface is extremely user friendly and easy to use. I'm not from the IT area, but I've still been able to configure it to organize file backups in Google Storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
About CloudBerry there's nothing to complain about. The only hard thing was to be able to confirm Google Storage preferences and services. This was the cheapest solution we found on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a pretty large amount to store on the physical HD only. So for security, we're uploading our files with CloudBerry periodically. This ensures that even if the property catches on fire, we will not lose our latest files.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
is extremely easy to use, and very cheap by what it offers. The best thing is that you can pay a single price for the rest of your life. Without this pick of other companies to pay a "rent" to use the services.
This honesty along with ease of use makes me adore this software. I recommend it to everyone.

Good software for the moment. I'm on trial still
What do you like best about the product?
It has an easy interface. Permits to match with many storage providers. It works properly. Restoration is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this stage. I'll have to try further and see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving all the data of my company on a daliy basis. It reduces risks very much.
Cloudnerry to the Rescue
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of installation and configuration has made Clooudberry my preferred solution in 95% of my projects.
The functionality is superb and the integration to public and private clouds makes it the swiss-army-knife of backup solutions

What do you dislike about the product?
needs better support for network drives, NAS, ETC
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lower cost backup clients...... The ability to backup to a multitude of Storage repositories
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This application has all you need to manage your cloud backup requirements
Clean and simple backup solution
What do you like best about the product?
Simple solution that solves a simple problem. You have full control of your own data in your private cloud account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can tell so far. I am very happy with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backing up offsite to cloud storage.
Great for business and home
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of working with AWS S3 and Glacier is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I don't have any dislikes, though I haven't tried to restore anything yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At my job we are backing up producion file systems. At home, I am backing up 3 PCs and a home server all to AWS glacier. The savings over a product like carbonite are unbelievable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for inexpensive cloud backups, use cloudberry in conjunction with AWS Glacier. I am backing up about a TB of data across 4 machines for less than $10/month
Excellent backup solution
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy and intuitive to use, fast, secure, and offers the possibility of using various storage services and in the cloud. I used CrashPlan for many years and until then had not found a worthy substitute. But Cloudberry replaces it and is much better than CrashPlan. I also liked the way of marketing a lifetime license with a one-time payment without monthly fees or annual renewals.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still no rule to exclude empty files (0 bytes) from the backup, and every execution ends with an error message because empty files were found. Therefore, Cloudberry should allow creating a rule to filter and exclude these files from the backup or stop generating an error when these files are found, as it requires checking the log daily to understand the error and see if any action needs to be taken. I have reported this issue to support and hope it will be fixed in the next version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am managing to save backup copies and version my documents. In addition, I am taking advantage of the obsolete areas of some storage services I have accounts with (OneDrive and Google Drive, for example) to store backups of more important files.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you were a CrashPlan Home user, Cloudberry is the best solution to replace it.
Cloudberry It Just Works
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Cloudberry software for years, on 4 servers (2012) and it has never let me down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, More feed back about cloud storage
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently setting up the desktop version to upload music to Google drive for safe keeping
Very Satisfied with Cloudberry Backup
What do you like best about the product?
I am an IT Consultant and have recommended Cloudberry products for several years for my clients. It is very simple to setup and use and the feature I love the best is it's seamless integration with Amazon S3.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about cloudberry is that sometimes I have issues when the backup destination (normally a NAS) is offline and the backups tend to pile up on the C Drive and have to be deleted manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for backing up to a NAS and to Amazon S3 (encrypted)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I only use 2 features, local backup (to local drive or NAS) and to Amazon S3 and I have had lots of success with Cloudberry.
The most perfect backup program for files
What do you like best about the product?
I have used various backup programs over the years, and Cloudberry is the one that comes closest to perfection. I compared it with Acronis, KLS, Macrium, Easeus, CrashPlan, Virtos, Goodync, Norton Ghost, Syncback Pro, among others, and all of them presented some problem, either when making the backup or during restoration. Most do not have file versioning, which for me is essential when restoring lost files.
So Cloudberry was the most complete and efficient I found; it was the only one that offered all the modules I needed, and for these reasons, I started recommending and implementing it on all client machines.
Cloudberry's wide range of backup destinations is definitely the key point here. I have evaluated the software against several competitors over a long period of time, and this is by far the best in terms of flexibility and backup options.
The fact that I can split my different backups into different cloud and local storage is unparalleled (well, after CrashPlan eliminated its Home service). Not everything belongs in the cloud, but not everything can be stored at home either.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the charge based on the amount of space the backup uses, which ends up being expensive in Brazil (which charges a lot of taxes in currency conversion).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best of all is the file versioning solution, which allows the restoration of deleted or modified documents over time.
