Outstanding Support

  • August 03, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
When online, Support Team provides the best level of support I have experienced.
They were extremely helpful during a project implementation, where we found some obstacles for a full solution implementation and their work were key to this deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Online documentation structure (you will find what you're looking for, but, sometimes, it will take longer than you can afford for a given momentum).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud Backup. Disaster Recover, to name a few.
In terms of benefits, we can find a very comprehensive analysis material in order to proper fine tuning backup plans.

What do you like best about the product?
Having used Clouderry backups for a few years I can testify to how robust and reliable the solution is.
Setup is straight forward and easy although provides all the advanced options that you could possibly want.
Cloudberry supports many cloud storage providers as well as local and hybrid backup solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have recently had an issue setting up a new storage account to amazon cloud, the support team was helpfull although in the end the issue seems to be caused by a third party support policy change by amazon themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the modern digital workplace and home, a reliable backup to cloud application is a must and Cloudberry Backup ticks all the boxes for me.

Robust, easy to use features, and a ton of online storage options to send backups to.
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Finance and Technology Professional

  • July 11, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Replaced multiple other backup solutions and the only one that natively uses the features of the underlying cloud storage rather than an intermediary layer. Understands Google Cloud Storage Lifecycle management to keep storage costs low and avoid transactional penalties on often changing information. And unlike other cloud solutions, this one actually understands deleted and moved file preservation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup can be a little cumbersome and you'll be obligated to use the highest class of product to backup anything other than a trivial amount of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidated down from separate cloud backup and disk backup solutions saving software costs and consolidated down onto the lowest price Google Cloud storage

Versatile backup application

  • June 14, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Cloudberry backup application offers many different features which will suite almost of backup requirements (local image backup, local file level backup, cloud backup)
What do you dislike about the product?
Resource utilization is not automatic based on the job/file size and may require tweaking by the end user if the application is performing backups of large data sets. Errors are not self explanatory and there is very little information online, so the end user will need to contact support and resolve the issue through trial/error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business continuity in case of various set backs,

Set it and forget it

What do you like best about the product?
Cloudberry backup is one of the most cost effective ways to keep my computers backed up with out concern if it is working or not. Once I set the software up and connected it to my Amazon S3 acocunt, which was rather simple to do, I no longer need to think about keeping my data protected because of the real time protection built into the software.

Cloudberry backup has a pretty long list of destinations to send your back up data to and also supports Amazon Glacier for deep back ups.

We run 2 back up plans on the software. One to Amazon S3 just in case we need to access a file quickly and one to Amazon Glacier for a permanent back up and storage location.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes about the software program. Surprisingly, they don't charge significant fees to keep it up to date and even with the small amount they charge for the service, they still provide solid support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Safe and encrypted transmission and storage of my company data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The simple recommendation is go for it. The software is well worth the small investment.
