What do you like best about the product?
We ran into a few snags after our implementation partner rolled off the project. The SearchStax team has been incredibly responsive in solving our issues and educating us along the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides for us. They have exceeded our expectations and the speed of results is great. We drive our react components based on the solr server, and we have seen good speed test ratings on our site, which helps our SEO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They drive our site-wide search as well as our product and literature catalog results. We don't have any solr experts on our team currently, but thankfully SearchStax has had our backs.

Stable product, works great in combination with Sitecore.

Customer service desk is easily reachable and always available, responds quickly to questions or issues and assists with the installation, which is complex in some scenarios.
What do you dislike about the product?
System is sometimes down, or slow when we push too much data. I had times it required a restart which cannot be done by the client. Would be nice if it can easily be scaled up or down or even restarted by the client.

The onboarding experience is great; they have a very competent team running things who work with you to get the environment(s) set up & are genuinely happy to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
'There are some things you can't do yourself (where a custom Solr install is needed) however, you just have to ask them to do this for you & they'll sort it out quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using SearchStax as a SaaS solution to go with our Azure-based PaaS services. Without them, we'd have to have had a traditional VM in the mix, which we desperately wanted to avoid.
High performance and great support
What do you like best about the product?
The performance that we are getting from the search service is amazing after moving to Searchstax and the manual effort involved with managing the infrastructure has been reduced. We can now concentrate only on the application side and scalability is not a concern. The support from SS is amazing and we are getting on-time responses to the queries that we raise.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've migrated our service to SearchStax 6 months back and there is nothing we dislike currently. The monitoring dashboard needs a little bit of improvement as it's not easy to get the stats in one look and it's confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scalability and Security
