The best among the rest!
What do you like best about the product?
I like everything about Palo Alto! Among its 2 major competitors (Fortinet and Check Point which I also handled), it has the most efficient GUI especially for the management server - Panorama. So easy to navigate and use, can easily push policies/configurations, and I can install only the changes made by me not the others, which other firewall management cannot do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, I can't think of any. Palo Alto is the best among other firewalls, really. The GUI is getting better on every feature release.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Panorama solves the administrators problem of not having a centralized management that is so easy to learn and use by almosy anybody, without sacrificing the security that a NGFW gives. Always updated by new signatures, Palo Alto gives an end to end protection by leveraging its layer 7 architecture.
Panorama Review. One of the best management product available in the market now.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of management... easy to upgrade the firewalls.. easy to manage the updates etc..
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be an option to forcefully push template settings for specific settings. Currently, when we select force, it will overwrite all template values...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
centralized management.. easy to manage cloud and on prem firewalls... playing with templates is nice option when we deploy multiple firewalls for branches.. onboarding of firewalls are easy using parent + child template setup..

It has the best security features to manage network infrastructure.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Palo Alto firewall for URL filtering, Zone based filtering and configuring ACLs. All this configuration is being pushed through Panorama.

Easy to manage, create and modify Security rules and push configuration to Palo Alto firewall

I've observed real-time logs cannot be retrieved accurately sometimes through panorama.

Panorama is used in our project to manage firewall rules and security features and all paloalto firewalls managed through panorama. Palo Alto network has stable connectivity through their devices.

What do you like best about the product?
Panorama is the best device to manage Palo Alto firewalls centrally, all changes we can do through panorama like configuring security Policies and features and pushing the configuration to associated Palo Alto devices.

So far not observed anything on Panorama devices.

We are configuring firewall policies, URL filtering, Policy-based forwarding, NAT rules, objects, etc., in our network infrastructure and managing all Paloalto Firewalls through the panorama as a centralized management device.

Palo Alto Panorama, a very comprehensive and intuitive firewall console
What do you like best about the product?
I have to say that what I like most about Panorama, and what makes it far superior to Juniper, are the logs; they are great, allowing you to perform a multitude of searches by filtering in a thousand different ways. The console is very intuitive and everything is easily found, allowing you to manage a large number of firewalls easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least about Panorama is the access to the device itself; when you enter, it takes you out of Panorama and you can't be interacting in both places, and it's quite slow. Then, in Palo Alto in general, in the smaller firewalls, there is a very big limitation of zones, and for us, it poses a big problem since we work a lot with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our organization, it is crucial to have Panorama since we manage an immense number of Firewalls, and managing them one by one would be a huge waste of time. It makes our lives much easier when a flow fails and we have to check the logs; you quickly find where the traffic is getting stuck. The daily task of inputting policies is very simple for us with this console. Another very interesting feature is the multizone, which allows you to reuse the same policy for multiple zones.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are considering using Palo Alto, I recommend it to you. We are very happy with them and it is what we are currently implementing. I recommend trying it.

The GUI feature is just awesome. Awesome to manage 100's of firewall through the panorama.
Very easy to push the changes to the group of firewalls. Can review changes before committing the changes.

Renewal license is expensive , but i can say it is work of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage multiple firewalls easily at a single place. Avoid problems and save lot of time instead of logging to each and single firewall separately.
Panorama - Firewall management at its best
What do you like best about the product?
Panorama allows you to manage all of your Palo Alto firewalls in a single pane of glass. The management functionality is great, log retention is even better!!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to get used to at first but then it's easy to understand.

Firewall management. Now it's all centralized.
