Setting up of SSL VPN is one of the best of all.
Content filtering, vulnerability assessment. All security services under a single module are one of the easy access ways to do.

Bug reporting and patches take months which should be restricted.
For TZ500 series for SMEs should at least support 250+ licensed ssl VPN users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing our traffic flow using their UTM devices PAN india.
We have moved from Fortinet to SonicWall and are satisfied so far with the services and support provided.

Sonicwall UTMs are a low-cost and effective solution in comparison to the BIG players; it is a must to try products at a significantly lesser cost.

1. initial deployment and setup are simple.
2. We can wireless access points of Sonicwall, and they can be managed through the same Sonicwall dashboard.
3. Inspection of packets in both In and Out directions.

1. CLI commands are very different from v6.5 to v7.0

It helps the customer to get good infrastructure performance

The logging part is inferior and they have to increase the flexibility of logs and alert functionality

What do you like best about the product?
In our organization, we are using Sonicwall NSv 870 (Network Security virtual appliance), it has a very attractive management dashboard and direct options for configuring the network interface IP address, network & service objects, and security policies.
When comes to security performance, SonicWall works very well, by allowing us to configure a policy with source MAC and Source user which is very helpful for restricting internet access to particular machines and users.
When comes to the monitoring part, it has very good filtering options to monitor required traffic.

The main thing only I can dislike is the cloud features. SonicWall net generation firewalls have fewer cloud features.

Sonic wall firewalls are the high performance firewall in current market.It prevent the threats.It protects our network from inside and outside threats.

It is expensive and Complicated to configure.

We are continuously monitoring and preventing unauthorized access using sonic wall firewall.It blocks the viruses.We are monitoring internet usage of our internal employee's computers.It creates reports of blocked threats.

We are using sonic wall firewall to protect our network.We are able to check who is accessing our network.We are monitoring activities which is going on networks.It create threat reports.Threat reports contains activity of firewall means which viruses are blocked by firewall.
