What do you like best about the product?
It can monitor any cloud , and also it is capable of anomaly detection

still to master in some areas as end to end monitoring

Monitoring the Infrastructure w.r.t to servers and Databases etc. Metrics are Accurate and valid to monitor with out manual intervension

What do you like best about the product?
Data representation based on different views is one of the best feature.
For an example if you a developer the granularity of telimetry data and metrics you can represent for a developer mind set is a huge advantage. On the other side if you are a business person rather going technical level of granularity, the way the business important data as in Business transactions been presented in an understanding manner is a huge benifict.

What do you dislike about the product?
Appdynamics is an agent based solution for different monitoring scopes. In modern world with devOps mindset,in multi tenant scenario, integrating agent installation with the custom configuration in devOps generic pipelines is hard.
There is a reason for that, that is because to give the tenants to do customisation. But they can be done only during installation not after. So to have a generic pipeline for installtion covering everything is hard to keep up.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using AppDynamics to monitor
Infrastructure, applications, Databases, Real User monitoring web and mobile , Synthetics, Analytics, BIQ Aand AiOps to keep our critical systems monitored 24 by 7 and to reduce MTTR if any issues.

Plus the benificts you get as a user is massive per my personal experience. Highly recommended for enterprises to use AppD as the main Monitoring tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
1) Does not allow grouping in Analytics by custom fields
2) Does not store ADQL in Analytics in URL, you can lose your query in case of simple QL grammar error (NewRelic is more duligent for this case)
3) Some anarchy on capturing parameters (may allow to have different UserId and UserID columns which makes hard to group data in future)

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to monitor each request and response insights seamlessly without much integration effort
What do you dislike about the product?
Android SDK is a bit complex to integrate and has many dependencies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a hard time determining bottlenecks for app in production AppDynamics will help to identify backend problems specially when integrating with multiple servers that require different authentication ways and it will spot where exactly the problem, also it helps to find where journeys are failing due to problems in frontend or backend

its ability to drill down and pinpoint to the performance issues

Insights can be better improved, sometimes its tedious to navigate

I was able to resolve performance bottlenecks tied to production SLAs. Using this tool we were able to meet the SLAs we had with the client.

It helps us to reach the result by seeing the faulty codes, performance bottlenecks and business metrics in the developed software from end to end.

I used AppDynamics as a POC to find performance issues in our DEV application and it was able to show us list of transactions where we are losing most of the time
Best Tool to Monitor applications
What do you like best about the product?
The tool can be used to monitor stats like errors, server status etc., which makes the analysis very easy. It's very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have used it for sometime now, and I have no complaints about the tool.

It helps me to monitor and fix the errors. Also used to improve the performance issues.
