Qualitative blocking, great customer support

What do you like best about the product?
We like that the service stays extremely simple to describe and that, despite all the complexity, remains very usable by us as customers. Also, the support during the build and the run phase is very valuable, and appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any dislike toward Datadome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're limiting the accessibility of our web platforms to real users.

Easy to integrate, great protection

What do you like best about the product?
- Very easy to set up - we used NGINX integration and did it for 1 day
- Obvious positive results - after integration we've seen an instant drop of "bad" sessions in our statistics
- Good support - support team always on the line, answers questions very quickly
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing important. One of our wishes was added by the last release :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Replace our working bot protection algorithm with something more accurate
- Protect our primary endpoints from scraping

Our main problems are solved :)

What do you like best about the product?
We're really pleased with the Datadome service. It was easy to get up and running quickly and appears to be accurate. It's paying for itself in reducing the arguments we previously had to have with partners and clients over bot clicks vs valid clicks. Support is also very helpful on the rare occasions we've needed to speak to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything significant that we don't like about the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously we had discussions with partners and clients every month about which clicks were valid. Implementing Datadome has made those discussions a lot easier as we're able to show results from a neutral third party.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would give the free trial a go and see how it works for you.

One of the best bot detection systems out there

What do you like best about the product?
Learns from our incoming traffic and adapts bot detection to prevent further attacks. Amazing on call support to help tweak and improve bot detection system. Incredibly performant systems that we run on our edge CDN with no performance impact to our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards could be more insightful and easier to navigate - but they are upgrading them as we speak.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get scraped by very advanced, almost undetectable bots that deplete our APIs so customers can't use them and steal our prices. By applying Datadome we managed to block over 90% of these attacks even when the bots got smarter and adapted. Different solutions were not able to keep up and needed constant manual effort

What do you like best about the product?
I think the best is the degree of protection given.
I like the responsiveness of the support too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Datadome is not available for Shopify websites.

We stopped a lot of attacks on different company websites.
We have given security to our customers during their purchases.

You have to test Datadome ASAP.

Good bot defence tool

What do you like best about the product?
* The integration was easy
* There's good visibility on the dashboard of incoming traffic and how it's classified
* It's easy to change behaviors/rules in real-time where required
* DataDome support are very responsive
What do you dislike about the product?
DataDome is a good tool and we're happy with it - things which could be improved:

* Having longer-term availability of the key metrics (Request numbers, % of bot traffic etc.)
* More customisation options for the Captcha (for the rare cases where it gets shown to actual customers)
* More information about the behaviors of the bad bots would be interesting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're blocking a selection of bad bots: aggressive scrapers, vulnerability scanners, etc. As a result, the traffic which reaches our core infrastructure has been reduced and smoothed.

Easy set-up, great protection, great reporting

What do you like best about the product?
DataDome was very easy to set up with our CDN (Cloudflare), and we noticed little or no issues with false positives. The reporting tools are the best we have seen and very intuitive. Their support team has been excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really hasn't been much to dislike about DataDome so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have reduced overall bot traffic (based on our Cloudflare stats). We have not been subjected to any noticeable sustained DDoS attacks. We have had little or no false positives. We have a bot protection tool which is easy to administer and which provides us with great insights and reporting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We evaluated many other products before settling on DataDome (including competitors with top reviews). In terms of cost, ease of use, reporting and protection, it was the best by far. We recommend that you do your own research to determine what is best for your organization's needs, but we are confident that DataDome will end up being the leading choice for most organizations.

Superb bot protection with great support and tooling

What do you like best about the product?
DataDome has excellent support, thorough reporting on traffic, great tools for creating custom rules and managing traffic, transparent pricing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more engineers available in US timezones would help (DataDome is primarily based out of France, and most engineers seem to be in Europe).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage a site that bots target heavily for competitive scraping. DataDome easily blocks simple threats. Their advanced reporting and online tools allow us to take care of many threats ourselves. Their support team is highly skilled, and very responsive to help block advanced threats.

Efficient protection against content theft

What do you like best about the product?
It works. Bots are changing all the time, and we would never be able to keep up with them ourselves. DataDome efficiently filters out all our malicious traffic, so we don’t have to worry about our content being stolen.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing in particular we dislike. DataDome is working well for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We operate a successful telephone directory. Competitors were scraping and republishing our proprietary data, sometimes outranking us in search engine results with our own content. Our business was growing, and we knew this content theft could threaten our existence. We had to stop it.

We have been using DataDome for several years now, and we can’t imagine doing without it. It’s an insurance against potentially very serious problems.

Excellent SaaS Site Protection

What do you like best about the product?
The DataDome team was very responsive from the very first phone call and throughout the whole process. I was surprised to get someone on the phone right away and equally surprised to have all of my questions answered thoroughly from Nicolas and his team.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far the service is doing what we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datadome has helped us decipher good and bad traffic and filter out the bad. The custom dashboard provides excellent data for both technical and non-technical users.
