Easy to use and review risks
What do you like best about the product?
The platform easily identifies risks, eliminating a ton of manual intervention

Only negative is the small lookback windows for historical data.

Quickly identified an ongoing Payment Fraud issue and stopped the attack.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using DataDome since 2019. Their progressive mindset has allowed us to stay one step ahead of evolving bots, with consistently improved false positive ratios and user experience. With industry-leading DataDome Captcha and constantly updated rules, DataDome allows us to set it and forget it, while safeguarding our data and users. Their availability and support during Australian hours is also a benefit to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor nitpick: having tech support during APAC work hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Does what it is supposed to do (Bot Protection, Traffic Source Detection and DDOS Protection) effectively.

Effective Bot Protection for Our E-Commerce Platforms with DataDome
What do you like best about the product?
DataDome provides exceptional protection for our e-commerce platforms. Its real-time detection and advanced algorithms effectively safeguard our websites against malicious bots. The solution's seamless integration and user-friendly interface simplify the management of our security measures across multiple sites. Additionally, DataDome offers excellent customer support and ensures 24/7 protection, giving us peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not encountered any negative aspects and are very satisfied with DataDome's implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDome solves the problem of unwanted bots by effectively keeping them off our e-commerce sites. This protects our website from fraudulent activities, enhances the user experience for genuine customers, and safeguards our data and systems from misuse.
Excelent anti-bot protection

Datadome's support is top-tier; their interface is also great, and they provide a great variety of ways of integrating with their ecosystem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Historical data is limited to 30 days; captcha page has few customization options.

Datadome detects and blocks most of the bots attempting to abuse our system; we rely on them to make sure only real users are able to authenticate
Data Dome was the absolute best choice for protecting my Magento website from malicious bots
What do you like best about the product?
Data Dome was extremely easy to install and configure for our Magento website. Simply, it's a module that integrates with Fastly and a JS snippet that sits on the front end.
The Data Dome back end interface is also easy to use. You set up rules for allowing or denying traffic to your site then allow Data Dome to do most of the thinking for you. Our support team made the process easy and devised a plan where we could integrate and protect endpoints incrementally on our site. This approach allowed us to ease into full protection.
Our need for Data Dome came about due to our Credit Card processor complaining that our checkout was being used for carding attacks and other suspiscious activity. Installing Data Dome fixed that problem for us.

What do you dislike about the product?
The support team did a great job creating an implementation plan for our Magento website. I was surprised that it was a custom implementation since Magento is such a commonly used e-commerce engine. I would have expected Data Dome to have a Playbook for my Integration team so they wouldn't have to start from scratch. I feel that would have sped up implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data Dome solves the issue of Bot Detection and Mitigation. The trouble with bots is that modern ones can change their behavior to avoid detection. Data Dome has been effective at adapting to those changes and keeping us protected.
Bot protection that works
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about DataDome is its quick integration and deployment; we were able to realise the benefits and savings very quickly in terms of protecting our site from bot traffic, saving cost on bandwidth and also clearing up our analytics by preventing all the noise from bot activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our experience with Datadome has been exceptional. The only thing I would say if I had to was that during deployment, as it's learning, you will need to pay attention to ensure false positives are ironed out; this will be true with most solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datadome was able to prevent Bot traffic from hitting our website, something that a traditional WAF cannot do on its own. This meant we reduced the load on our servers from erroneous bot traffic and had more apparent analytics than we ever had.

What do you like best about the product?
I like its comprenhensive protection that combines server-side and client-side protection, making it igly effective against sophiticated bots. Addionally, their support team is outsanding, provinding excellent assitance when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, there is nothing I dislike about DataDome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datadome effectively addresses the problem of web scraping. This benefits us by protecting valuable content and data.
A much better solution to combat scraping than traditional CDNs.
What do you like best about the product?
DataDome spent time to understand our business, implemented the system, watched our traffic, and tweaked the system to our needs. They stay in contact and are always prompt to help us. It was very easy to integrate with our existing CDN and is very easy to use. We are very happy with our choice to use DataDome to protect our servers from scraping and would highly recommend their service to anyone looking to protect their servers and content from malicious actors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of any downsides.

It solved our scraping problem.

What do you like best about the product?
DataDome has been super helpful in identifying and blocking bot activity on our site. Without DataDome technology we'd have to build a lot ourselves and this allows us to use our engineering resources on product features and not blocking bot activity! The customer service and technical teams are always very responsive when we have questions which means it very easy for us to use and adapt to our changing needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't cheap but we value the service and are willing to pay for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDome helps us identify and block bots and fraudulent activity on Winnie. This can occur quite frequently for us because our website gets a lot of traffic and is available to use logged out.
