DataDome has saved my team hours of time each week
What do you like best about the product?
My company needed a hands-off way of monitoring and protecting our website from malicious traffic that was causing web outages, scraping content, increasing costs and contaminating web analytics. Datadome's real-time bot protection has been a life-saver. The UI is user-friendly, they have excellent documentation, and the onboarding team has been amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. I was not involved in implementation so I am unaware of limitations and complications on the engineering side but the general feedback from our dev team has been positive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Stopping malicious traffic in real time, making web analytics easier and being able to look up requests easily in the UI as a non-engineer.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Datadome for our bot detection services for several years now. The team was able to put together a custom solution to fit our needs, has excellent support, and most importantly provides a high level of detail on their detection features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really to comment - we do not use their dashboard as much but we are able to get the data we need regardless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using datadome for their Bot detection services. We have tested out several different partners and found Datadome best suits our needs.

What do you like best about the product?
We needed scraping protection for our APIs, and Datadome worked with us all the way through to get the security we need. The team at Datadome helped us build a custom integration with their systems, and they are always available when we have issues. They provide a powerful solution to handle malicious traffic that we can manage as we need, or we can contact them where they are happy to manage issues for us. It is a high quality product with a high quality support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
DataDome does not have out-of-the-box connectors for Azure Cloud serverless computing services. We needed to build a custom integration. Other than that they consistently address all issues we have and always match or best the competition.

Scraping protection for a proprietary API.

I was a bit annoyed by the setup time although it was a special case.

They were scraping the prices of our products. DataDome prevented our prices from being obtained by our competitors.

It just works without any difficulties
What do you like best about the product?
It provides great bot protection with quite easy to setup installation. It provides real protection and if you do something suspicious you will be blocked, unless your are in the allow list. Solution that just works.

You need to do some steps to setup it right. It's ok, not a big deal.

What do you like best about the product?
We had a serious issue with bot traffic submitting fake leads on our Sales demo form. After implementing DataDome, our MQL rejection rate went from nearly 50% to under 5%. DataDome also helped to remove bot traffic from our analytics data which gives us a much clearer picture of our conversion rates and traffic numbers.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a unique technical stack (Netlify + Next.js) that meant we had to spend a little extra effort to integrate DataDome. However, the Customer Support team was helpful throughout this process and even reviewed our integration code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDome drastically reduces spam traffic and identifies bots through sophisticated fingerprinting using machine learning and not just IP based filtering. This led to a decreased MQL rejection rate on our demo forms and much cleaner analytics data.

Since the implementation, no modifications have been necessary, and everything is working perfectly!

What do you like best about the product?
DataDome is an all-in-one bot protection solution that seamlessly integrates with our production workloads, offering protection against scraping misuse, service overload, fake account creation and more. DataDome allows for customisation of response be it Captcha, rate limiting, allow or block lists.
In our opinion DataDomes best aspect is that it is maintenance free from our side leaving us more time to focus on our product.

What do you dislike about the product?
Despite its strengths, there are areas where DataDome might fall short. False positives sometimes show up and being AI driven the reasoning can sometimes elude us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned DataDome solves a number of problems for us related to bot protection which would otherwise impact us such as scraping misuse, service overload, fake account creation and the likes.

Best Bot Protection Out There - And I've Tried All The Big Ones
What do you like best about the product?
DataDome was easy to set up and allowed way more options to do so than the competition. I love all the customization options to suit my very complex needs. Additionally, they are open to creating new features just to make my life easier. They have some very smart people working there. The support is good and very responsive. We are now into our third year with them.
Overall, it's the best Bot Protection/DDoS tool on the market.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a bit more support-less visibility into the reasoning behind why certain requests were blocked, but I can always get that from contacting support.

DataDome is helping us with DDoS and scraping - which were our two biggest concerns when searching for a solution.
