Easy to use if you're familiar with the product and strong security-focused, best customer support & provide secure VPN access for end-users

What do you like best about the product?
Multi factor authentication through the sophos Authenticator app. Robust level of options for all business situations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. I guess my only issue is lack of clarity on versioning for firmware and compatibility with backups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security of our business network
Sophos is a very professional Firewall that you can rely on for either small or big companies.
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos XG Firewall simplifies your work, and at the same time, lets you do whatever you might think of concerning Firewall.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only disadvantage I can see in Sophos is that it is slightly slower than other similar software. But that is because it is far more detailed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an ICT Supervisor in my company, Sophos helps me give specific permissions to our staff, each depending on his duties.

Sophos XG Firewall is the best firewall nowadays and incomparable to other software; very professional and user-friendly.

I most like its interface, which is very easy to use and understand compared to other firewalls. It is next-generation firewall with the best security features. It ensures the latest threat protection along with applications, web, and content control.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not faced any single issue with XG firewall yet, so no point to dislike it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

1) it is reliable and secured firewall from sophos.
2) it's IPsec features helped us to link our branches and offices without MPLS. Which saved our lot of money.

I don't have any point to dislike sophos firewall.

3) various features like load balancing, IPsec, website access restrictions help us to manage organization network efficiently.
4) we able to set bandwidth quota and speed user or device wise using firewall rule.
5) it helped to save money by using IPsec feature instead of MPLS.
6) we can utilise primary and backup line fully with its load balancing feature.

1) I most like it's load balancing feature. We can configure load balancing instead of primary or secondary gateway which helps to utilise both primary and secondary links simultenously.
2) quick load transfer to secondary if primary goes down.
3) we can manage source device traffic easily with the help of various firewall rule.
4) mac host features plays vital role in restricting traffic to specific device and users.

I don't see any point to dislike sophos xg firewall

2) we able to configure mac id level access to our network
3) its load balancing feature helped us to manage load on both active links and utilise them fully.
4) it's firewall rule feature helped us to manage traffic, web access, bandwidth etc. user and device wise.

6) it's quick alert on email on link down help us to raise ticket with respective ISP.

User-friendly and Secure

Easy to deploy and easy to configure the device. easy to write policies for blocking and allowing certain URLs. and it provides good security

there is some delay when we apply any changes we made, it takes time to apply the changes

Mainly security of endpoint devices and remote access of servers.

Amazing for the small it departments
What do you like best about the product?
Amazing for the small it departments. Very easy to deploy and manage while providing great protection. To do not need a whole SOC to manage and monitor these.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, very good option. I do wish that the web admin exceptions supported FQDN's like their UTM to make remote support easy and secure from a dynamic remote IP address.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Really reduced the total cost of ownership without lowering our level of protection.
All the features the CTO asks for while keeping the CFO happy also (great value!)
What do you like best about the product?
The Sophos XG is easy to manage. The user interface is simple and intuitive. If you need to step into the CLI, there is plenty of documentation for that as well. The built-in support for the easy-to-interface REDs tunnels is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not had any problems with the Sophos XG series. Dollar for feature, the Sophos XG line is a fantastic value. We previously had used Cyberoam products, and the Sophos acquisition and enhanced development of the product have been a blessing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With working from home becoming a "new normal", I am able to easily segregate traffic and control Internet bandwidth in my home/office, allocating the resource as needed without needing a separate connection from my ISP. Filtering content for the "non-employee" individuals at my workplace is a huge benefit.
