It is a very efficient solution in your price range
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and very effective, it has many reports for evaluation, this allows to quickly implement the security policies, additionally the use of the end point provides a detailed vision of the possible threats that could be in the network.
What do you dislike about the product?
In general, it is a tool that I really like, perhaps its limitations are due to being immersed in the world of SMEs and not focused on large solutions, I would like it to be a solution that could be implemented in larger companies, as a central point of my security policies and not only in small or medium-sized companies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to change and implement the company's policies very quickly and the maintenance time was much better, the great benefit, the efficiency in the management of the operation, its ease of use allowed me to dedicate my time to other activities, additionally they have support constant to clients based on education and constant evolution of the system, even doing the updates was something very simple, within 15 minutes I already had a new update installed and in production

Being a focused company, SMEs offers an advantage in relation to price value, in addition to having the reports included and their integration with active directory without the need for additional equipment or software.
Sophos XG 125 Review
What do you like best about the product?
In almost two years, no major incidents on our network. Carefree install and forget. As long as you maintain firmware upgrades, the standard installation does an excellent job.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Sophos XG 125
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zero incidents, is the major benefit. Being able to manage centrally from Sophos Central is a nice plus, instead of having to login to 5 firewalls.

Well supported and easy to use product for beginner and expert network admins. Level of support is excellent.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick initial setup, integration with anti-virus makes management easy, easily scales with us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Major updates sometimes cause the XG to stop working properly, but automatic backups have made it easy to recover if anything goes wrong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When taking over IT, everything was in shambles. There was no anti-virus, no firewall, and every system needed to be upgraded. I needed a secure solution that could be setup fast and could easily be managed during the transition period, but then scalable as old systems were replaced. Sophos XG was quick to setup, made security centrally managed because it integrated with Sophos anti-virus, and has easily scaled as we upgraded and replaced every system we had and then started adding new systems as the company has grown.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend getting Sophos anti-virus with central management. It will make the experience much better.

I've worked on many firewalls and I normally have complaints: can't think of one for Sophos...

Sophos XG Firewall
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos is currently ranked as one of the top security providers. I have been using their XG firewalls and Endpoints for the last few years. I have been extremely impressed with their protection and features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The XG firewall policy configurations can become complex if you are managing a large operation. I recommend reading their outstanding forum posts for assistance in learning the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Sophos XG firewalls to run multi-office sites for healthcare. We have 11 sites which connect to our main office that houses our servers. We have site to site VPNs running between the firewalls. This has proved to be a great product to allow us to interconnect our offices. The synchronization of the Sophos Endpoint software is also a great feature.

With Sophos XG, It was very easy on the configuration with user friendly. Nice Dashboard with all the important information once login. Just like a Car Dashboard, Without clicking anything all the information is show on the dashboard upon login.

No Throttling feature for users in education it is must.

Mainly looking for throttling for users after they finish their daily usage and a feature to put daily quota limit to IP or MAC Address base client

Sophos X Firewall is All in One when someone looks for Security of all levels, Monitoring , Managing, User Friendly and top of everything COST SAVING when thinking of paying huge amount to ISP.
